Minecraft Clock Tool Recipe:
During trade, players can buy a single clock from any librarian villager for q3 emeralds. Librarians sell clocks as a per t of their tier 3 trade. Players ca also craft this tool using Gold Ingot and Redstone.
The clocks are used to tell time in the game. They tell time according tot he position of moon and sun in relation to the horizon. The clocks have two haves. One shows Day while the other one shows Night. The dial spins slowly corresponding with the position of Sun and Moon. The clock does not work in Nether. There, the dials keeps spinning wildly and the player cannot use the clock to determine the correct time of the day.
The clock shows the correct time in all the following conditions.
- In a player’s hands
- On the craft table
- Dropped as an item
- In the inventory
Clocks were added in the Alpha 1.2.0 versions. Clocks used two textures one being the clock itself an the other being the dial. It meant that the players could change the dial of the clock without damaging the clock provided that they do not affect the transparency.
In the later editions, villagers started selling clocks for emeralds.
Clocks can be viewed as an item under the Statistics sections as long as you have ever made a clock in the past. If the player is sleeping and the time has changed on the clock due to commands, the time will automatically change tot he current in game time upon waking up.
The few issues that were faced by the players include:
- Applying a texture greater than 32pixels broke the clock.
- The clocks get stuck when changing dimensions.
- Clocks and Compass Tool start spinning when they come in view
